Greetings to all over the World

Dieser Eintrag ist allen in der ganzen Welt gwidmet, vor allem unserem Freund Joe mit Familie aus USA, der immer gespannt unser Bautagebuch verfolgt und heute daher in englisch.

This diary entry is dedicated to all people in the World, especially to our friend Joe with family from USA, who always tracks very interested our diary and will be for this today in english.

The work of the house building company is nearly done. The floor pavement is done and now drying. This week the outside plaster will be done and in week 51 the final work will be done by the company. What's left is now our job. As soon as we are ready with plugging up and grinding the walls and ceilings, we will start with painting, decorating the walls and doing the floor (flagstones and laminate).

As Andrea has lots of days of, she mostly works the whole day at the house. Always plugging up and grinding the gypsum plaster boards. Some time it is very difficult to reach all the edges. But meanwhile she is used to do the work from all positions on the ladder.

After work I drive directly to our new house to start work their. My today's topic was to build the platform for our bathtub. As we want to place the bathtub in edge, but not to close to the roof, we planned to build a platform. First idea was to build the platform up with stones, but as we have a wooden house also the platform shall be from wood. So I started with the framework. As soon as the buthtub is place, the framework will be cover with wooden boards and finally gypsum plaster boards.

Most work, especially painting, shall be better done with daylight. But when I am back from work, it is these days nearly dark. But on the other side, working in the evening, when it is dark outside gives the work a little romantic touch. Also it is a good alternation to the daily work on the computer.

For Joe: hope to see you on our housewarming party !
